Bon Appetit to Serve as Title Sponsor of Chicago Gourmet 2010

BON APPÉTIT TO SERVE AS TITLE SPONSOR OF CHICAGO GOURMET 2010

(CHICAGO; May 20, 2010) – Chicago Gourmet, one of the nation’s most anticipated culinary events celebrating the City of Chicago’s finest in food and wine, is pleased to announce Bon Appétit magazine as its title sponsor. Chicago Gourmet, presented by the Illinois Restaurant Association, will be held in Millennium Park on Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26, showcasing over 100 of Chicago’s finest restaurants and chefs, as well as hundreds of renowned vintners, spirit makers and premium breweries from around the world.

“We are thrilled that Bon Appétit has chosen to join and support us in hosting this impressive culinary experience to further showcase Chicago’s top chefs and sommeliers to the world,” says Sheila O’Grady, president of the Illinois Restaurant Association.

Barbara Fairchild, Editor-in-Chief of Bon Appétit, Andrew Knowlton, Restaurant Editor of Bon Appétit, and Cat Cora, Executive Chef of the Bon Appétit Culinary Studio, will attend and participate in Chicago Gourmet.
