“We were in the city for a sisters’ weekend. It was a perfect day of temps in the 70’s and bright sun. We wanted to stay outdoors as much as possible! Tavern on Rush was a quintessential al fresco restaurant. The covered seating area is right on the corner of Rush Street. I had a spinach salad topped with grilled salmon. It was delicious. My sister had a chopped salad with grilled chicken. Our server patiently brought us several tastings of wine until we found ones to our liking. Very good service, atmosphere and food.
