Chicago Restaurant Week | Feb. 19 – Feb. 28

Chicago Restaurant Week 2010, produced by the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau (CCTB), kicks off February 19. The event features more than 160 member restaurants offering three-course, prix-fixe lunches and dinners for $22 and $32, excluding beverages, tax and gratuity. The program has been extended from seven days to 10 days running through February 28. Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush, Riva Navy Pier, and Tuscany on Taylor are all participating.

Inspired by the culinary philosophy of Canyon Ranch and using only the freshest ingredients, Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants hopes to introduce its patrons to new and exciting ways to enjoy their favorite Stefani cuisine while making a healthy lifestyle as attainable and realistic as possible. A Day of Wellness

In addition, Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants has partnered with Canyon Ranch to host a special “Day of Wellness” on January 19. From 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Riva on Navy Pier, join Canyon Ranch physician Jyotsna Sahni, M.D., who will present tips on how to create and sustain a more healthy lifestyle and will discuss how food habits, emotions and life-choices can play an important role in producing lasting and positive results. The presentation will be followed with cooking demonstrations by Canyon Ranch Corporate Chef Scott Uehlein, who will offer attendees valuable information and practical tools and recipes for use in their own kitchens. This unique event will be capped off with a gourmet lunch featuring new and health-inspired dishes expertly prepared by Phil Stefani Corporate Chef Joe Roireau.

In the evening, Dr. Sahni and Chef Uehlein will be the featured guests at a cocktail reception at Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary massage and spa treatments and expertly prepared hors d’oeuvres and organic wine and beer selections while mingling with members of the Canyon Ranch staff. Chicago Gourmet is back! This year the Chicago Gourmet Dine Around extends the event beyond Millennium Park into some of the city’s best restaurants. Beginning Monday, August 24th and continuing through to Sunday, September 27th, Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush, Riva Navy Pier, Tuscany Taylor and Tuscany in Oakbrook are all participating in this great Dine Around program.

Special prix-fixe menus will be available at all participating restaurants, offering guests not only a unique dining experience but a chance to earn a free ticket to Chicago Gourmet!
