Love it or hate it, Sex and the City introduced a whole new generation of drinkers to the fabulous world of the cocktail.
The Cosmo was Carrie Bradshaw’s drink of choice throughout much of Sex and the City. Despite its modern image, the recipe follows the classic sour-family cocktail recipe of base spirit (vodka), sweetener (Cointreau) and sour (lime juice), with a bit of cranberry juice thrown in to add an extra bit of tartness and a nice pink color.
In honor of the recent release of Sex and the City 2, we will be featuring $5 Cosmos at Tuscany Wheeling! Monday through Thursday, until the end of June!
Offical Cosmopolitan Cocktail Recipe
1½ shots citrus vodka
½ shot Cointreau
¾ shot cranberry juice
½ shot lime juice
2 dashes orange bitters
Shake all ingredients well with ice and fine strain in to a cocktail glass. Garnish with a flamed orange zest.

Due to its overwhelming popularity last year, Tuscany Wheeling is again offering patrons the opportunity to celebrate Passover with traditional Jewish culinary favorites. These special meals will be served family style on Monday, March 29 and Tuesday, March 30. In addition to the dinner, a Seder will be held by the Cantor, beginning at 5:30 on the Tuesday.
Tuscany chef Bolla Loza will once again serve traditional Passover favorites including appetizers such as chopped liver, gefilte fish with horseradish and golden chicken broth with matzoh balls; entrees of broiled fresh Lake Superior Whitefish, whole roasted chicken and oven roasted brisket of beef, all served with fresh green beans in garlic and olive oil; followed by desserts including honey cake, sponge cake and macaroons.
The cost is $27.95 per person and only $13.95 for children age 10 and under, plus tax and gratuity.

Hey everybody, Tuscany Wheeling, along with 17 other Wheeling restaurants, is participating in Dine Global, Give Local: A month long campaign, sponsored by The Village of Wheeling and Chicago’s North Suburbs Convention & Visitors Bureau to benefit local food banks.

The cheeseburger – A long-time staple of American cuisine has been re-invented by Chef Bolla Loza and added to the lunch menu at Tuscany Wheeling & Tuscany Oak Brook. Prime ground chuck, a brioche bun, patatine fritte (fried potatoes), and your choice of provolone, gorgonzola or cheddar, make this simple, yet full-flavored burger a new customer favorite.
We asked Chef Bolla how a burger so simple can taste so good. ”Quality ingredients, and experienced cooks. There isn’t much more to it” Bolla said. But you don’t have to take his word for it. Tuscany Wheeling customers are eating these burgers up at an astonishing pace.
Jason, manager at Tuscany Wheeling gave us some more insight. ”I’m not surprised at how many of our customers love this burger. Bolla is a master of cooking, and I was excited to see what he would do with a cheeseburger. Jason added, “Our customers love it because it tastes great, and they know the ingredients are high-quality.”
