In addition to a sumptuous meal prepared by Chef Federico Comacchio, you will be treated to Hush Opera’s newest brain child, Twice Told Tales. The evening will feature similar tales spun by opera composers/librettists and Broadway tunesmiths alike. Serenading you will be Mr. Jay Morrissey, tenor; Ms. Jennifer Kosharsky, mezzo; Ms. Cynthia Firing, soprano; and Alessandro Magno, baritone – with Ms. Celeste Rue of the Lyric Opera of Chicago tickling the ivories. Our emcee will be Second City alum and actor extraordinaire, Antoine McKay.
To wet your appetite, we will reveal that you can expect to hear selections from West Side Story/Romeo & Juliet, La Cenerentola/Into the Woods and many more pairings.
