Michael Smith has been named the winner of Phil Stefani’s Tuscany Restaurant, Pitch Your Pie pizza design contest with his Meatball Diavolo pizza creation!
Tuscany Restaurant is a Chicago based fine Italian dining restaurant that’s one of the Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants. Stefani is a Chicago restaurant empire that’s been making Chicagoans yearn for their authentic Italian dishes for more than 30 years. Tuscany has three locations which include Taylor Street, Chicago as well as two locations outside the city in Wheeling, IL and Oakbrook, IL. Meatball Diavolo, the winning pizza will be featured at all three during the month of November.
Pitch Your Pie is a pizza design contest where participants visited the official Tuscany Restaurant Facebook page and described their dream pizza. Tuscany Restaurant wanted the creative juices to flow and the responses were nothing short of mouth-watering. Listing his most delicious combination of cheeses sauces and toppings, Michael won the $100 Tuscany Restaurant gift card and the November pizza feature at all three restaurants. You can visit Tuscany this month to taste the contest winning ‘Meatball Diavolo’ which is a delicious crispy crust holding mini meatballs, spicy diavolo sauce, giardiniera, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
In appreciation of all the tasty creativity, Tuscany Restaurant handed out $10 gift cards to each person who entered the contest. The gift cards are valid at all Stefani Restaurant locations and encouraged to be used to get your hands on the tasty Meatball Diavolo!
