Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel Proclaims Phil Stefani Day in Chicago

October 13 is officially Phil Stefani Day in Chicago!

Mayor Rahm Emanuel officially proclaimed October 13, 2014 to be Phil Stefani Day in Chicago. The Mayor encourages all Chicagoans to recognize his many achievements and countless contributions. The letter was received by Phil Stefani following his recent induction into the Chicago Culinary Museum and Chefs Hall of Fame.

In the proclamation, Mayor Rahm Emanuel recognizes Phil Stefani for his contributions to Chicago and his true penchant for business and burgeoning presence in the hospitality industry and also for fortifying Chicago’s status as an international dining destination and true cultural and business hub. He recognizes Phil Stefani for his philanthropy and advocacy for childrens’ charities garnering more than $2 million dollars.
