Sand Bar Beer Garden at Chicago Air and Water Show

Take in the the rumble of the jet engines while sipping an ice cold beer on the beach at air show center! The Sand Bar Beer Garden is the only place on North Avenue Beach where alcohol is permitted during the Chicago Air and Water Show.  The beer garden Located on the sand, in front of the Castaways Boat House.

OPEN: Friday 8/15, Saturday 8/16, and Sunday 8/17
HOURS: 10:30 am – 3:30 pm (last call, 3:00pm)

To Enter

• Must be 21 or older
• Must have valid ID to enter
• No coolers, personal beach chairs or pets are permitted.
• Guests cannot leave the gated area with any alcoholic beverages.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disorderly, intoxicated and/or unruly to patrons, guest or staff
