It’s been another cool and damp spring in Chicago — not great for lounging away the hours on Lake Michigan.
But it’s those dreary days that make us cherish glorious Chicago summers of catching rays, eating great food and enjoying a beverage even more. A staple of summer in Chicago is Phil Stefani’s Castaways Bar & Grill at North Avenue Beach, and we’re planning our 2016 season opening the weekend of Friday, May 20.
Castaways Bar and Grill is the premier location on North Avenue Beach for tasty food and ice cold drinks. Our first level features an ice cream café and beachside burgers with casual walk-up stands, and the rooftop serves tasty appetizers, sandwiches, fresh salads and refreshing desserts.
Whether you’re stopping in for a refreshing cocktail, craving some appetizers or want to enjoy one of our fresh burgers, wraps or salads, Castaways has something for everyone! For those that want to hang out for a little while longer, we also offer daily drink specials.
If you’re planning a summer party, make it a day at the beach with a Castaways private party or cabana rental.
