Chicago is known for its year-round displays of fireworks launched off Navy Pier. Two nights a week during the summer and on select holidays throughout the year, the Pier is lit up by a beautiful display of fireworks that illuminate the city for miles.
However, the biggest display of the year is reserved for Independence Day. The Navy Pier July 4 fireworks are a spectacular show watched by millions from across the Chicago region. Even though the fireworks can be seen from many vantage points in the city, Navy Pier is the prime viewing location, and Stefani Signature Restaurant Group has three unique venues right on the Pier to eat, drink and watch the show.
For those looking for a more upscale dining experience, Riva Crab House on Navy Pier offers Chicago’s only Lakefront seafood menu. You’ll have a front row view of the fireworks from just about any seat in the house as you dine on everything from Australian Lobster Tail to Alaskan King Crab to our signature steaks and chops. Riva also offers a more casual setting and menu in the outdoor Riva Cafe located just steps from Lake Michigan. To ensure seating at Riva for the July 4 fireworks show, make your reservations today. Seating fills up quickly and we will sell out.
The Miller Lite Beer Garden on Navy Pier offers a “brew with a view” and a quick menu of burgers, brats and pizza by the slice. In addition to entertainment all summer, the Miller Lite Beer Garden will be another ideal spot for the July 4 fireworks. Best of all, there’s no cover charge and you can come and go as you please.
If Mexican fare is more to your liking, Phil Stefani’s Chango Loco on Navy Pier offers a full menu of tacos, quesadillas and other south of the border favorites, with ample outdoor seating from which to watch the show. Chango Loco also offers a selection of beers, cocktails and margaritas.
So, if you’re heading to Navy Pier for the 2016 fireworks display, start making your plans today. The holiday is right around the corner, and we’re anticipating record crowds as the Pier celebrates its 100th year.
