With Memorial Day in the rearview mirror, it’s time to look ahead and plan the rest of your summer around these free or affordable events at Chicago’s Navy Pier.

Live Music at Navy Pier

Come hang out at the Miller Lite Beer Garden at Navy Pier to see live artists perform great music throughout the summer. The concerts take place every week Wednesday-Sunday until the 3rd of September. On June 6, Wednesday at 5:15 p.m., rock out with Corey Dennison and special guests Funky Mojo Daddy. That Thursday at 6 pm, don’t forget to put on your dancing shoes for an all age stepping dance lesson with Ken Watkins. Then on Friday, the Keesha Pratt band take the stage at 5:30 p.m. along with guests House of Waters.

Fireworks at Navy Pier Sponsored By Aon

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, enjoy Summer Fireworks shows on Wednesday and Saturday nights. Fireworks provide the perfect entertainment for the end of your night at Navy Pier. Chicago’s big 4th of July fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, and is presented by Miller Lite.

Father’s Day Cruises at Navy Pier

Show Dad how much he means to you by sending him on a luxurious cruise along the Chicago skyline. Spirit of Chicago, Mystic Blue and Odyssey cruises are hosting a Father’s day cruise at Navy Pier featuring a delicious buffet, breathtaking views, and onboard entertainment. Dad will love spending this cruise on Father’s Day with the rest of the family.

Free Movies at Navy Pier

Water Flicks screens musical films outside on the Lake Stage in Polk Bros Park on Mondays from June 18-August 20. In its second year, Water Flicks is proudly presented in partnership with the Chicago International Film Festival. Starting on June 18 and every following Monday at 7 pm, bring family and friends to sing along to these classics: The Adventures of Priscilla (Queen of the Desert), Get on Up!, Pitch Perfect, and Viva Las Vegas.

Pride Celebration at Navy Pier Presented by American Airlines

The 3rd Annual Navy Pier Pride will take place along the lakefront on Saturday, June 23. This public event is an inclusive environment making it family-friendly and a perfect Pride celebration for anyone to attend. The wide range of activities in the celebration makes it the largest Pride event in Chicago outside of Lakeview. One event not to miss is Queer the Pier at the Miller Lite Beer Garden. From 5pm-midnight, you can expect great live music & DJs along with special guest CeCe Peniston.

Fresh Fest! at Navy Pier Presented by Allstate Insurance Company

Witness a two-day, Pier-wide showcase of Chicago’s young and gifted performing artists. From July 12-13, Fresh Fest! boasts the raw talent of Chicagoan adolescents and children by giving them a platform to perform their various talents. These musical and dancing acts range in style from blues, classical, rock, and jazz. The performances feature: Bitter Jester, School of Rock, and Move Me Soul.

Stefani Signature Restaurants at Navy Pier

While visiting Navy Pier for any of these great summer events, don’t forget to bring your appetite to any one of three Phil Stefani locations. The Riva Crabhouse on Navy Pier features gorgeous views of the Chicago skyline and a menu packed with fresh seafood, steaks, and a great wine selection. Come visit the only seafood restaurant along Chicago’s lakefront.

The Miller Lite Beer Garden is situated outside on the East End of Navy Pier surrounded by beautiful views of Chicago’s skyline and lakefront. This all-ages spot offers plenty of draft beer for adults and delicious food for hungry kids.

Chango Loco is an atmospheric cantina with authentic Mexican cuisine ranging from nachos, tacos, and carne asada. They also serve beer, margaritas, and daiquiris at an affordable price and an unbeatable view of the Chicago skyline.
