Independence Day is right around the corner, it’s time to plan a day full of fun! Enjoy tasty food, family fun, and stunning fireworks over Lake Michigan all day on Thursday, July 4th. From 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, Navy Pier will be open for you to enjoy summer festivities.
Take a cruise on Lake Michigan or the Chicago River on the famous Chicago boats, like Mystic Blue, Odyssey Lake Michigan, Spirit of Chicago, or a Seadog. Enjoy a cruise, and bask in the beauty of a clear view of Navy Pier’s spectacular fireworks display, which begins at 9:30 PM.
If you’re not into cruises, but still want to have fun, take a ride on the Carousel, Pepsi Wave Swinger, Centennial Wheel or enjoy other fun games, appropriate for any age. Enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at RIVA Crabhouse, Chango Loco, or Miller Lite Beer Garden on Navy Pier as well. Our restaurants will give you a front row seat to the breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline and the free fireworks show.
