The Stefani Restaurant Group is set to unveil its latest venture, Stefani’s Bottega Italiana, on January 30th at 6075 N. Milwaukee Avenue. This quick-service Italian shop and pasta lab will showcase Executive Chef Vincenzo Vottero’s authentic pasta dishes, Roman pizza, and Italian sandwiches, along with take-home options like fresh handmade pasta and imported Italian groceries.
Chef Vottero, hailing from Bologna, Italy, has recently joined Stefani Group as the Culinary Director. Teaming up with the original pasta maker who has been crafting pasta for the group since 1987, Vottero aims to bring genuine Bolognese flavors to an American audience. Stefani’s Bottega Italiana will blend traditional Italian pasta dishes with contemporary options for both dine-in and take-home experiences. The pasta lab will supply fresh pastas for all Stefani Restaurant Group concepts across Chicagoland.
“Stefani’s Bottega Italiana lays the groundwork for the new age of what Stefani Group can offer and is our tribute to the local community by providing the freshest options straight from Italy,” stated Stefani Restaurant Group managing partner Anthony Stefani. “From the moment guests walk in, they will see a peek into our pasta lab with vintage Italian pasta machines and display counter which will showcase all the pizzas, pastas and sandwiches.”
Diners can expect a variety of rotating seasonal items, daily pastas, and Italian classics, including Chef Vottero’s award-winning handmade tortellini. The menu features dishes like Tortelloni di Ricotta and Lasagne Verdi Bolognese, as well as authentic Roman-style pizza and ‘schiacciata’ sandwiches on homemade focaccia bread. Italian wines and beers will complement the culinary experience.
The quick service restaurant & specialty pasta shop will operate for lunch and dinner 6 days a week (closed Mondays), opening at 11am and closing at 8pm (9pm on Fridays and Saturdays).
