Two very passionate men in hospitality, Phil Stefani and Adolfo Garcia, joined forces on the project. Garcia turned to Paul Tanguay (Tippling Brothers) for his experience and reputation for creating an unforgettable cocktail experience; only to be upstaged by the nightly cabaret show - choreographed, produced, and headlined by the best DJ’s and cabaret performers in Chicago. With a large selection of some of the best Rums in the world coupled with a specific curated menu, one can’t go wrong spending their night partying away in Chicago’s best Cabaret venue.
Now open in the West Loop, MAD Social, a neighborhood kitchen and gathering place, is Gina Stefani's own restaurant vision come to life. Here you'll find all the traditional family values that still drive Phil Stefani's iconic brand, but with Gina's fresh perspective and casual approach. Take a seat in one of the cozy booths or high-top tables in the rustic interior designed by Adolfo Garcia with the intention of staying true to the industrial past of the West Loop. Original Timber Ceilings and hardwood floors provide natural elements within the space, and reclaimed wood gains new life on the bar and in the banquette seating. Mad Social also serves a wide selection of craft beer, wine, and classic cocktails.

Chef Bolla Loza is a 30-year veteran of Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants. He began his career with the company 1984, the original Stefani’s on Fullerton Ave. in Lincoln Park. Under the direction of Claudio Ulivieri and many trip to back to Italy, Chef Bolla moved up the ladder and on to Tuscany Clark where he spent 3 years overseeing its kitchen. In 1999, Bolla was the opening chef at Tuscany Wheeling. He has spent the past five years perfecting the menu there and bringing a whole new level of Northern Italian cuisine to the North Shore area.x

Prior to working at Tavern, John spent ten years as the Executive Chef at Chicago Yacht Club, Monroe and Belmont Harbors. Chef Luigi is always conscious of those around him, and is focused on education and teaching his cooks and restaurant staff about the food, presentation and efficiency in the kitchen.
